ABOUT US:
Community Clinical Services, Inc. was founded as a community-benefit organization in 1985 offering medical, behavioral, and pediatric dental care services in Lewiston and Auburn Maine. Since our inception, we have been committed to providing equitable access to primary health services regardless of an individual’s ability to pay. In 2000, Community Clinical Services (CCS) was designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center, Look Alike (FQHC-LAL) and incorporated as a nonprofit 501(c)3. Our FQHC status enables us to offer a Sliding Fee Discount to our patients based on income levels. Please navigate to the Sliding Fee Scale Page to learn more about our Sliding Fee Discount.
MISSION:
To improve the health and well-being of our community through patient-centered care, advocacy, and community engagement.
VISION:
To lead the state in providing the highest quality of integrated, equitable health care.
VALUES:
Integrity - Integrity is at the heart of everything we do. Rooted in honesty, strong moral principles, transparency and accountability, integrity is a cornerstone upon which we build a positive culture.
Partnership - We believe in the incredible power of partnerships . Rather than go it alone, we firmly believe multiple perspectives, inclusivity, and diversity not only strengthens our advocacy for our community but will ultimately lead to the empowering social justice of health care as a human right.
Respect - Without respect, we are nothing. We believe respect is shown through kindness, empathy, compassion and understanding . We respect what others bring to the table. We respect cultures, experiences, and abilities not our own; and we respect ourselves and our community.
Commitment - While always flexible and adaptable, we are committed to our work, our Mission, our Values, our Vision, our community and to each other. We believe these values will guide us as we meet and conquer the challenges which will inevitably arise in our ever changing environment.

What is a Federally Qualified Health Center (Look Alike)?
Our FQHC Look Alike designation means that we are regulated by, and comply with all of the Health Resources Service Administration (HRSA), program requirements. Unlike Federally Qualified Health Centers that are 330 Grantees, we do not receive federal funding for program operations. *
